New Year Resolution

So.. that is the talk of the town.. WHAT IS YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION???? I thought of a few things....
First of all: Of course I have to say LOOSE WEIGHT! For one, I need to be healthy for my family and I want to be a healthy weight for when we try to have another baby (no that is not happening for a while people!!!). My hubby has done so awesome with his weight loss so I need to hop on that band wagon. We got Wii Fit for Christmas and I LOVE it!!!! I am so motivated to play that.
Second: spend more time with ALL my family. I feel like we never have time to do anything. I hope that I can learn to "plan" things better. I am so bad with doing things on the spur of the moment and no one can ever do anything. In a few weeks we have a new member of the family arriving.... Scarlett Isabella Cometa. I want Abby to be able to spend a lot of time with her (and I miss spending time with Tracie too). I have a lot of family in Delaware and Cecil County and I want to be able to get to visit them more.
Third: I need to be more prepared and write out bills ahead of time, instead of when they are due... yeah Ben, that does include tithing!
Forth: SAVE MONEY!!!! I have a huge problem with spending money and buying Abby clothes!
I am sure I can name so many more things, but these are my top priorities!!!!

Ok, I don't have the Christmas pictures uploaded yet... I know I am a little behind! Over the past month we have had Ben's mom, step dad, brother, sister in law, and 2 neices, dad and his new girlfriend visit. Abby really enjoyed playing with her cousins and getting tons a birthday and Christmas presents. Her are a few pictures from the past few weeks:

Ok, as I am sure you all know I really don't have much time to be posting things on here. I tried to pick some her the best pictures that I had of her 1st birthday celebration. Abby had 3 "cake smashings", one at Aunt Kristi's, one at Chuck E Cheese's and the grand finale at her BIG PARTY (I still need to post those pictures)!!!

Quick Birthday Girl Update!!!!

Well, our baby is officially 1 year old! I do not know where the time went.This past year has honestly flown by!!! When people say, "Enjoy every moment with them because it goes by fast" they really do mean it! Ben and I have had such a wonderful year and we had so much to be thankful for! All I could do pretty much all day yesterday is "try" to imagine how a little 7 lb. 7 oz. girl that couldn't do ANYTHING on her own a year ago is now walking, talking, getting in to everything and just being her own little person!
Ok, enough mushy stuff..... we went to get pictures taken yesterday and they were wonderful! Abby is such a ham; from the time we put her down she was laughing and smiling, but by the end of the photo shoot, she was sucking her thumb and holding on to "baby". We were at The Picture People for over 2 hours and we were all getting cranky and hungry! After we grabbed a quick bite to eat a Chick Fil A we had to run to the doctors for Abby's 12 month well visit..... I know you are all thinking, what a mean mommy I am making Abby get shots on her birthday!!!! Abby had to get 3 shots and she screamed and cried! Normally she is ok when the doctor looks at her, but she wasn't a happy camper this time! I think ti also had to do with she was soooo terribly tired! Abby stats are: 29 1/2 inches long, and 19.9 lbs. (yeah I think KYLE, Abby's 6 month old friend has her beat). After the doctors visit Abby and daddy took a nice long nap. When everyone was refreshed, we headed to Chuck E Cheese! Wow, talk about bringing back memories, it looks totally different now. Anyway, Abby had a blast. She waves to all the characters and even got her picture taken with Chuck E. She rode a few rides, but we mostly went there for the fun atmosphere and PIZZA! What a great day we had!!!!!
Ugghh, now I have to get ready for work!

good morning

I don't have too much time, so this will be a quick post. Ok, a few new things about Abby... she is finally ROSEOLA free!!!!!! YEAH, no more rash and she is her normal self! She is now taking about 7-8 steps alone, loves to walk around holding someones hand, she says, "bebe" for her baby, she is signing "eat", "more", "milk" and "all gone".
We have Abby's swimming class tonight. We are looking forward to that, since we had to miss it last week. Have a good day!

Since I haven't posted in such a long time, I have a lot of catching up to do. Abby is taking her morning nap so I thought I'd try to post some more pictures.

Abby just loves this baby! Ben and I say it is the ugliest baby we have ever seen. I think Abby knows it is funny looking too because whenever she grabs it she laughs at the baby!

So, Abby is doing much better, but Ben and I think she has a viral infection called Roseola. We are not 100% sure, but we are treating it like that. She has several little bumps on her body and when she cries or gets worked up they really come out. We are keeping her quarantined for a few days just in case it is contagious. The nurse at our doctors office said it is contagious, but in What to Expect The First Year and on WebMD, it said it isn't contagious.
Well I better get back up stairs to attend to her.

A few weeks ago we went to Columbia Mall to see the Sugar Beats perform..... I was really really let down. I thought it was an actual group that sung 80's songs. Come to find out it was a bunch of lil kids and a man playing a guitar while the kids sang.
